GI Jill was a popular disc jockey whose transcribed shows, known as GI Jive and Jill's All Time Juke Box, featured recorded popular music and dedications to specific GIs stationed around the world.

In reality, Jill was Martha Wilkerson, the wife of broadcast executive Mort Werner.
