The ABCs of Music

The ABC's of Music first aired on May 21, 1950 over the CBS network as the summer replacement for Bing Crosby's Chesterfield Show. It was initially promoted as the ABC Club (Always Buy Chesterfields), but since it was broadcast over the CBS network the title was changed to ABC's of Music before the first show. Robert Q Lewis served as emcee with Ralph Flanagan's orchestra and guest vocalists. Another feature of the series showcased three different disc jockeys flown in each week from around the country.
