Captain Starr of Space was a juvenile adventure series broadcast on the ABC radio network in 1953. Eight episodes are thought to exist, of which four are in general circulation. The show followed the adventures of Captain ‘Rocky’ Starr of the Space Rangers and his crew — Sergeant Stripes and Gail Archer — as they travel the galaxy fighting crime in their spaceship, the Shooting Star. The show was created and written by Tom Hubbard, who also played Sergeant Stripes, and starred John Larch as Captain Starr, with Jane Harland as Gail Archer.
