MARK TRAIL, the radio series, was based on the long-running comic strip of the same name created by Ed Dodd. While the radio series only lasted some 2 1/2 years, the MARK TRAIL comic strip has been around since 1946. This soft-spoken comic-strip star and veteran outdoorsman has been teaching people to preserve our natural resources - woods, water and wildlife - for future generations. The comic strip is currently seen in 175 papers and reaches over 23 million readers worldwide.
