This is Nora Drake was "a story seen through the window of a woman's heart." Supposedly an orphan. Nora fell in love with Dr. Ken Martinson, and he with her. But Martinson was burdened with most of the emotional instabilities of serial drama males. He dashed off and married Peg King, daughter of millionaire Andrew King and herself an impulsive creature. Soon realizing that he still loved Nora, Ken asked Peg for a divorce. In a fury, Peg confronted Nora, raced away in a careening auto, and had the predictable accident, rendering her a dependent cripple.
