The Career of Alice Blair was a transcribed daytime serial drama syndicated and distributed beginning in 1939. By 1943 Ziv Radio Productions had one hundred thirty episodes available for sale to local stations.

The story, as the title suggested, revolved around the various jobs held by Alice Blair as she struggled for success in New York City. Beginning as a secretary, she later became a model, a musical comedy star, and eventually married her "Prince Charming."

Rosemary DeCamp Betty Moran, and Martha Scott all took their turn playing the title role. Joseph Cotton co-starred as the male love interest.
